The Training Fund Authority (TFA) supplies a rebate for course participants who are working in, or in connection with, a company in the building and construction industry in the ACT who is performing work liable for the payment of the Training Levy. Eligible work is outlined in Schedule 1 of the Building and Construction Industry Training Levy Act 1999. The CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building & Construction covers the essential theoretical skills and knowledge required to work as a builder or site manager. Learn how to run a small to medium construction business and be on your way to lodging your C Class low rise residential builders license application. This course includes 20 clustered units of competency delivered across 6 blocks of training.
MBA Training utilises an online learning management system (LMS) called aXcelerate, all resources and assessment are accessible here. Students will be required to bring their own wi-fi compatible device to view course content and complete assessment tasks. Assessment dates and expectations will be provided at the time of enrolment.
The CPC40120 qualification includes core and elective units of competency, the required units of competency have been structured across 6 blocks of training as shown in the Program Schedule linked below. Students must enrol for and successfully complete all six blocks to achieve the CPC40120 qualification.
On successful completion of all 6 blocks, participants will be issued with a CPC40120 – Certificate IV in Building & Construction and be on their way to lodging a C Class low rise residential builders license application. Participants who do not successfully complete all 6 blocks will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for only the units of competency achieved.
