Pre-Requisite Requirement
Certificate III in a relevant building trade or successful completion of a pre-requisite exam
Minimum 18 years old

Remote sessions will be conducted online using Microsoft Teams. Course participants must attend all remote sessions and complete the required formative and summative assessment tasks for each block. Assessment dates and expectations will be provided at the time of enrolment.

Block 5: Estimating & Stock Control
CPCCBC4004 – Identify and produce estimated costs for building & construction projects (E)

Block 6: Set Out & Survey
CPCCBC4007 - Plan building and construction work (C)
CPCCBC4008 - Supervise communication and administration processes for building and construction projects (C)
CPCCBC4018 - Apply site surveys and set-out procedures to building and construction projects (C)
On successful completion of this course, participants will be issued with a CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building & Construction and be on their way to lodging a C Class low rise residential builders license application.
On successful completion of all 6 blocks, participants will be issued with a CPC40120 - Certificate IV in Building & Construction. Participants who do not successfully complete all 6 blocks will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for only the units of competency achieved.
