Must provide 100 points of identification and be a minimum of 18 years of age
All participants attending the training are to be physically fit and wear protective clothing, which includes steel capped safety footwear, long trousers and long sleeve shirts or overalls
English language skills sufficient to understand both written and verbal instruction
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment to be completed prior to confirmation of your enrolment
Identify a confined space and potential confined space
Follow WHS policies & procedures and identify relevant WHS legislation, regulations and standards covering work in a confined space
Identify, list and demonstrate the steps required to work safely in a confined space in accordance with AS/NZS 2865-2001
Identify, assess and evaluate risk Work within the restrictions of the permit system for an established confined space
Able to test atmosphere within the confined space prior to entry, and then to safely enter the confined space whilst continuing to monitor the atmosphere and to conclude confined space operations
