Most businesses have a WHS management system on paper. Far fewer actually run one. This self-paced unit gives you the skills to turn a WHS management framework into a working plan: identify who is responsible, decide which parts of the system need attention, put actions in place, and use performance data to check whether it’s working.

You step into the role of WHS Systems Officer at Awesome Landscapes. The depot and site crews have just missed their injury targets, workers don’t know how to report hazards, and injured staff are waiting around for suitable duties. You’ll read the safety figures, write an implementation plan that includes injury management and return to work, and talk it through with management. Then you’ll put your part into action, and three months later, review the results and adjust the plan.
