Updated Managing the Risks of Plant Code of Practice in the ACT

This is a reminder to all members that the updated ACT Managing the Risks of Plant Code of Practice (the ACT Code) comes into effect on Friday 10 May 2024. This updated version of the Code revokes the Work Health and Safety (Managing Risks of Plant in the Workplace Code of Practice) approved in 2022.

The ACT Code has been updated to be aligned with the model Code of Practice, which was updated in January 2024. The updated Code provides specific control measures on the prevention of vehicle roll-aways and safe immobilisation.
