Workplace Impairment Training

Workplace Impairment Training provides construction workers with knowledge to refresh their awareness of obligations to themselves and others when entering and working on a job site.


PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This 2 hour course provides construction workers with knowledge to refresh their awareness of obligations to themselves and others when entering and working on a job site. Topics covered in this 2 hours session include:

  • What is Workplace Impairment
  • WHS Act 2011 & Duty of Care Workplace policies
  • Symptoms and effects of mental health
  • Signs and impacts of fatigue
  • Awareness of drugs, alcohol and addiction
  • Injury & Illness and the impacts on workplace impairment
  • How resources and environmental conditions can impair performance

REQUIREMENTS

Participants must be at least 15 years of age.


CERTIFICATION

This is a non-accredited course, participants will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance upon successful completion of the course.
