This course provides a combined theoretical and practical demonstration of external waterproofing applied to a balcony or planter box structure as well as an understanding of internal waterproof membrane systems and compliance with NCC and AS 3740-2010 requirements. It is designed for builders and anyone responsible for ensuring quality workmanship in relation to waterproofing. This course is delivered in English.
Up to 70% of the course cost may be refundable to eligible applicants through the ACT Building and Construction Industry Training Fund. We will apply for this refund on your behalf on successful completion of the course.The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of internal waterproof membrane systems and compliance with NCC and AS 3740-2010 requirements.
This course details practical design applications, compliant with the Standard and identifies minor and functional defects. It is designed for builders and anyone responsible for ensuring quality workmanship in relation to waterproofing.
The course runs for two full days and includes a practical element of applying waterproofing products to a small area and inspecting the following day. Appropriate footwear and PPE for the workshop is required (P2 facemask and eye protection). Surgical gloves will be supplied to participants.

It is highly recommended that you purchase the relevant guide to compliment your training.
