This course provides a combined theoretical and practical demonstration of external waterproofing applied to a balcony or planter box structure as well as an understanding of internal waterproof membrane systems and compliance with NCC and AS 3740-2010 requirements. It is designed for builders and anyone responsible for ensuring quality workmanship in relation to waterproofing. This course is delivered and assessed in English.
This course includes a practical element of applying waterproofing products to a small area and inspecting the following day.
There are a series of guides in relation to waterproofing produced by MBA NSW available for purchase from Master Builders ACT. It is highly recommended that you purchase the relevant guide to compliment your training. The complete set of four (4) guides is available at the bundled price of $330 for members ($440 for non-members). The four guides include:

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn throughout this training. Appropriate safety footwear, P2 facemask and eye protection must be worn. Surgical gloves will be supplied.
This is a non-accredited training course, participants will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance upon successful completion of the course.
