TLILIC0023 – Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 60 tonnes)

This Nationally Accredited course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a slewing mobile crane with a Maximum Rated Capacity (MRC) up to 60 tonnes in accordance with relevant legislative responsibilities.


PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to provide participants with the ability to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 60 tonnes capacity) safely and equip them with the knowledge and skills required for a High Risk Work Licence.


COURSE REQUIREMENTS

Participants must provide 100 points of identification and be 18 years of age or over
Participants must wear steel capped safety footwear during training and assessment
Ability to work at heights
A Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment must be completed prior to training. Sufficient English language skills to understand both written and verbal instruction as well as basic math skills to calculate volume and apply simple sling formulae is required for this course


CERTIFICATION AND LICENCE APPLICATION

Participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment upon successful completion of the course.

Successful participants are required to apply for a High Risk Work Licence with the regulatory body in the State/Territory they complete training in. Applications must be made within 60 days from the issue date of the Statement of Attainment.
