CPCCLSF3001 – Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding intermediate level

This course specifies the outcomes required to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding at the intermediate level. Successful participants can then apply for their High Risk Work Licence.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This program is delivered and assessed by Southern Training Organisation RTO 91378.

This course specifies the outcomes required to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding at the intermediate level which includes use and operation of cantilevered crane-loading platforms, cantilevered and spurred scaffolds, barrow ramps and sloping platforms. The course also includes perimeter safety screens, shutters, mast climbers and tube and coupler scaffolds (including tube and coupler covered ways and gantries) and consists of theory and practical training, which requires participants to complete reading tasks, written assessments and calculations.


GENERAL INFORMATION

Duration: 5 Days
Venue: ACT training will be facilitated at 1 Iron Knob St Fyshwick ACT 2609, South Coast training will be facilitated at Unit 15 – 16 38 Hopkins Street Eden NSW 2551
Delivery: Face-to-Face


COURSE REQUIREMENTS

Participants must wear steel capped safety footwear during training and assessment
Must provide 100 points of identification and be a minimum of 18 years of age
English language skills sufficient to understand both written and verbal instruction
Basic numeracy skills
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment (attached) to be completed prior to confirmation of your enrolment
Ability to work at heights

LICENCE APPLICATION

HRWL only: Successful participants are required to lodge an application for a High Risk Work Licence with the regulatory body in the State/Territory they complete training in within 60 days from the issue date of the Statement of Attainment.
