The Training Fund Authority (TFA) supplies a rebate for course participants who are working in, or in connection with a company, in the building and construction industry in the ACT who is performing work liable for the payment of the Training Levy. Eligible work is outlined in Schedule 1 of the Building and Construction Industry Training Levy Act 1999. Requirements
Participants must provide 100 points of identification and be 18 years of age or over
Participants must wear steel capped safety footwear during this course
A Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment must be completed prior to training. English skills sufficient to understand both written and verbal instruction as well as basic math skills to caluclate volume and apply simple sling formulae is required for this course

This program will be delivered and assessed by Southern Training Organisation RTO No. 91378 in both the ACT and NSW region up until the 1st of May, 2025. Training after this date will be delivered and assessed by MBA Training RTO No. 88163
This Nationally Accredited 5-day course provides the skills and knowledge required to safely perform intermediate rigging work associated with the movement of plant and equipment.
This program covers the outcomes required to perform rigging work at the intermediate level, which includes rigging of cranes, rigging of conveyors, rigging of dredges and excavators, rigging associated with tilt slabs, rigging associated with demolition work, and dual lifts for licensing purposes. This course has been designed for individuals who currently work as a rigger in the construction industry. This course is for students who reside in the ACT or can satisfy the ACT regulator that circumstances exist that justify a residential waiver for issuing a HRWL.
CPCCLRG3001 Licence to perform rigging basic level

Participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment upon successful completion of the course.
Successful participants are required to apply for a High Risk Work Licence with the regulatory body in the State/Territory they complete training in. Applications must be made within 60 days from the issue date of the Statement of Attainment.
