CPCCLHS3002 – Licence to operate a materials hoist

This 2 day course course is specifically designed for Materials Hoist operators, equipping participants with the skills and knowledge to apply for their High Risk Work Licence.


PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This program is delivered and assessed by Southern Training Organisation RTO 91378.

This course is specifically designed for Materials Hoist operators. The course does not allow operating personnel hoists. At the end of this course, participants will be able to plan their work and check the equipment as well as being able to apply a working knowledge of the WHS and regulatory requirements in accordance with regulatory standards.

This course is for students who reside in the ACT, or can satisfy the ACT regulator that circumstances exist that justify a residential wavier for issuing a HRWL

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

Participants must provide 100 points of identification and be a minimum of 18 years of age
Participants must wear steel capped safety footwear during training and assessment
English language skills sufficient to understand both written and verbal instruction
Basic numeracy skills
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment (attached) to be completed prior to confirmation of your enrolment

LICENCE APPLICATION

Successful participants are required to lodge an application for a High-Risk Work Licence with Access Canberra within 60 days from the issue date of the Statement of Attainment.

If you do not have one you will need to have either one of the following - Medicare card, birth certificate, driver licence, Australian passport, citizenship document, certificate of registration by descent, ImmiCard or Australian entry visa during this online process.
