Reminder for all Members – Safety on Site: Ensure you are doing it right

A person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) is responsible for ensuring safe practices are always being undertaken to ensure the health and safety of workers whilst on site.
Recently, WorkSafe ACT inspectors have visited numerous sites in Canberra through Operation Safe Prospect. This operation has had a particular focus on residential sites however all MBA members are reminded to ensure that they know and understand their obligations when it comes to safety This extends to the documentation required and how this correlates with how things are actually being done.
Compliance with the WHS legislation is not optional, its mandatory!
