With the current spike in COVID-19 cases in the community, members are reminded to review and maintain their COVID-19 Safety Plan to ensure the risks identified and associated measures of control are applicable and current.
Under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, a person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) must ensure the workplace does not put the health and safety of workers and others in your workplace such as customers, clients, and visitors at risk of contracting COVID-19. PCBUs must also assess any new or changed risks arising from COVID-19 to provide a safe workplace for their workers and others.
Members need to ensure their COVID Safety Plans are available and accessible for all workers and visitors at your workplace.
Make sure the workers are aware of their responsibilities and are complying with the COVID-19 Safety Plan at the workplace.
