NPM Group Under Administration, What Are Your Options

It has come to the attention of the Master Builders Association of the ACT (MBA ACT) that an administrator has been appointed to a number of companies who collectively comprise the NPM Group. Companies in this group are:

• National Projects and Maintenance Pty Ltd;
• NPM Group Holdings Pty Ltd;
• NPM Projects (NSW) Pty Ltd;
• National Projects (HQ) Pty Ltd;
• NPM (VIC) Pty Ltd;
• National Projects QLD Pty Ltd;
• National Projects (ACT) Pty Ltd;
• National Projects (WA) Pty Ltd;
• NPM Home Pty Ltd; and
• CREO Design Group Pty Ltd

The NPM Group had a number of active projects in the ACT and members who are affected by the company going into administration are encouraged to contact Worrells at npm@worrells.net.au and may submit their claims via the administrator’s file information portal at www.worrells.net.au.

In order to ensure that your company is not at risk for the duration of an active project, members are reminded to enforce the protections afforded to them in the contract. These include:

1. Enforcing prompt payment within the period specified in the contract;
2. Stopping work until such a time as an invoice is paid in full, especially in circumstances of substantial amounts.
3. Manage your contract to ensure compliance.
