Joy is a Workplace Relations and Legal Adviser with MBA Legal.
1. What work did you do before here?
I was an immigration lawyer for 1.5 years, then worked as a compliance officer in a fire safety engineering firm for 2 years.
2. What topics can you assist members with?
Wages, employment conditions, dismissal, enterprise agreements, Security of Payment Act (SOPA), general contract advice, WHS, etc.
3. What assistance can you offer under the MBA Legal banner?
Building contract disputes, debt recovery, contract reviewing and drafting, SOPA, and Fair Work Commission.
4. What made you want to work for Master Builders ACT?
Great workplace culture.
5. Do you speak any other languages, if so what are they?
Mandarin.
6. What are your hobbies?
Brazilian Jiu jitsu.
