Cyber Security – Federal Government updated the cyber alert status to ‘high’

In light of the tragic events unfolding in Ukraine, Australia has announced sanctions against Russia. Due to increasing concerns Australian organisations could be targeted by Russian cyber attacks, the Federal Government has escalated Australia’s cyber alert status to ‘high’.
The Federal Government has encouraged all Australian organisations to urgently adopt an enhanced cyber security position. Organisations should act now and follow the Australian Cyber Security Centre’s (ACSC) advice to improve their cyber security resilience in light of the heightened threat environment.
