A Message From the SLJC Registrar – Changes to the Ethical Treatment of Workers Evaluation Declaration

From 1 January 2024, the Ethical Treatment of Workers Evaluation Declaration will apply to additional categories of procurement and all supplier responses to the Fair Work and Safe Employment evaluation criteria will now need to also address questions regarding modern slavery risks.

When do the changes come into effect?

The changes to the ETWE process will apply to all new procurements over $200,000 that are published to the market on or after 1 January 2024.
