The NHVR are conducting research for its upcoming campaign to promote the Heavy Vehicle Confidential Reporting Line tool to improve safety for the heavy vehicle industry and all road users.
The NHVR’S Heavy Vehicle Confidential Reporting Line tool is a free and confidential service members of the heavy vehicle industry can use to report safety issues relating to procedures, practices or conditions in the heavy vehicle transport industry and its supply chain that might endanger the safety of a heavy vehicle driver, their passengers, other road users or the community.
The construction has been asked to participate in this survey as the new NHV Laws has emphasised the industries PCBU obligations under the ‘shared’ Chain of Responsibility.
The new laws now defines a heavy vehicle as a vehicle that has a gross vehicle mass (GVM) or aggregate trailer mass (ATM) of more than 4.5 tonnes.
NVHR value your feedback and are seeking your input on which message will capture attention and resonate with industry the best.
