Wage changes reminder

The Fair Work Commission’s 2025 wage review is nearly final. At this time, the Commission has indicated a 3.5% increase to the National Minimum Wage and minimum award wages, effective from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2025. 

What this means 

  • Award rates will increase 
  • Increases may affect enterprise agreements and site allowances 
  • Ensure compliance with the Better Off Overall Test (BOOT) 

What you should do 

  1. Review your wage rates – especially for award or EBA-covered employees 
  2. Check your EBAs – changes may require formal variations 
  3. Contact us if you need payroll or wage advice, want help with agreement amendments, or need assistance communicating with your workforce.
