The ACT has approved the updated Safe Design of Structures Code of Practice 2025 under WHS laws.

This Code provides practical guidance for designers, engineers, builders and clients on integrating safety into structures across their full lifecycle, from concept and design through to construction, maintenance and demolition.
Members are encouraged to review design and safety documentation against the updated Code and ensure design teams are identifying hazards early and passing on relevant safety information.
