Do I need plans before I approach a builder?
Not necessarily but it can be helpful to have an idea of what you want and your budget for the build. Make sure that if you are providing plans that you have permission to use them. Remember, your builder might be able to point you in the direction of a designer or architect if you aren’t sure where to start.
