This 80,000m² development exudes grandeur and sophistication across two breathtaking commercial buildings. Constitution Place is a gold-rated WELLs and 5-star NABERS energy-rated precinct that capitalises on the incredible city views. The development boasts many impressive features including an atrium ceiling in the London Circuit building, which required a molded plasterboard solution, layered to achieve the radius to reflect the curves of the building. The team showcased innovative design by creating special concrete mixing and conducting significant testing to ensure the close to 30,000m² of concrete used, perfectly suited the development. The London Circuit building features an impressive mega beam roof structure which required the concrete encasement of two side by side 1200mm steel welded beams, wrapped with reinforcement steel and post tension. Another technically complex area of the build was the curved façade on all corners of the building, which required a factory three curve pass finish to each glass panel. Through the use of timber veneer joinery, glass reinforced concrete, marble wall paneling and broadloom floor finishes, the team was able to create a development that will dazzle visitors for many years to come.
