Dickson
This boutique collection of five townhouses in Dickson, Canberra, offers a blend of contemporary design and timeless elegance. Built by REP Building in collaboration with Oztal Architects and Studio Black Interiors, the townhouses provide residents with a peaceful sanctuary while maintaining excellent urban connectivity. The design achieves a seamless harmony, with generous proportions, private courtyards, and inviting outdoor entertaining areas. The striking façade combines textural materials like steel and solid aluminum cladding, creating a sophisticated and durable finish. Inside, the homes are designed for function and beauty, featuring polished concrete floors, custom joinery, and stone benchtops.
Yarralumla
Situated in a well-established streetscape in Yarralumla, this project called for two premium dwellings, with high-quality finishes, features, liveability, and amenity high priorities. With identical floorplans and unique façades, each dwelling has 4 bedrooms, 3 living spaces, a basement garage with individual driveways, and secluded courtyards with plunge pools. The main bedrooms are privately situated at the rear, opening onto a terrace overlooking the pool. The upper floor features three bedrooms, including guest suite with ensuite and private balcony. The main bedroom is separated from the living area via a separate living room, providing a premium feeling of seclusion and privacy.
Red Shed
Construction Control were hired by the Black Mountain Rowing Club to construct Red Shed, a world-class rowing facility on the Black Mountain Peninsula. The project is a bold initiative designed to be accessible, with the aim of creating a strong sense of belonging and community among rowers of all abilities. Spanning two levels, it features a gym, co-working space, commercial kitchen, multipurpose function space, servery, café, wellness facility, coaches’ and therapy room, and a state-of-the-art boat store. Judges commented on the high quality of workmanship, innovation and exceptional materials evident in the project.
Whitlam
Projex Building successfully delivered the challenging 13,000 square metre Armidale Townhouse Development alongside Housing ACT. The project, which includes single and two-storey townhouses, met Certified Adaptable Class C and Liveable Gold standards, ensuring high-quality, accessible housing options for the community. The townhouses were designed with high-level outlooks, spacious outdoor areas, and low-maintenance materials. Community well-being was prioritised by incorporating communal spaces, and energy-efficient construction methods were used for long-term sustainability and reduced operating costs. The project demonstrates Projex’s ability to deliver high-quality, adaptable housing solutions under complex site conditions.
