This incredible 4-bedroom home was designed with the client’s vision in mind, “a classic style home differentiated with small Moroccan inspired features.” The powder room features an incredible Moroccan-style feature wall which perfectly blends with the classic beauty of the rest of the home. The outdoor alfresco area also showcases beautiful Moroccan tiles, and functions as a wonderful family entertaining space. The open plan kitchen features an expansive stone benchtop with an accent tiled splash back. The exterior of the home captures the true classical inspiration for the homes design, with a brick façade with white mortar detailing around the entry.

This home was designed to be, “A house that is bold, but not outrageous”, it utilises various angles and bespoke elements that make it an incredible work of art to behold. The team wanted the homes design to pay homage to origami, the Japanese art of paper folding, with the homes interesting use of shapes and angles.
The Excellence Awards judges described the home as, “longevity, beauty and usability coming together. Architekt Grune Hauser showed commitment to delivering a high-quality finished product by doing all their own roofing and metalwork, with the steel being delivered in raw lengths and the team fabricating the metalwork onsite. Incredible custom details were designed specifically for this home, including the brass knobs for the joinery, the ensuite sliding door, the pendant lights and the staircase.
Campbell
Set on a sloping block of land with stunning views, this beautiful family home was designed to capitalise on its prime position in the central suburb of Campbell. The façade of the home is a stunning visual feature that showcases brilliant workmanship. The team incorporated a box gutter detail into the structural steel to allow for expansion and shrinkage of the steel throughout the year. The strong black flashing details and the aluminium and timber cladding on the exterior provide a stunning welcome to the home. The home brings the outside in, with tall ceilings and large feature windows, drawing in the natural light.
