Pialligo Function Centre
Kora, along with Architects Ring & Associates, have delivered a stunning space with the Pialligo Function Centre, a space that embraces the natural beauty of the Truffle Farm setting. Incorporating natural timbers, locally sourced Pialligo stone and an abundance of natural light, the final product is an outstanding space that blends beautifully with the natural environment, providing a dining and function room with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
The timber clad beams and ceiling provide a warmth to the space, and as a hero element required careful craftmanship in installation and handling. The extensive glazing provides a connection to the exterior and is designed to allow the building to open up and close with ease to provide an adaptable and comfortable space. To achieve this, bi-folding systems were integrated and carefully designed to align with the architectural intent of theg structure. The expansive roof is both striking and clean in its final form, effectively concealing the drainage and steelwork.
