We have been advised that several members have recently been contacted regarding audits of their compliance with workplace record-keeping obligations. These audits include reviewing records relating to wage and allowance payments, as well as employee timesheets.
Members are reminded of the importance of ensuring their record-keeping practices comply with all applicable obligations. Failure to maintain compliant records may result in significant consequences for the business, including the imposition of penalties.
