We have been informed that the temporary closure of the Land Planning and Building Services (LPBS) shopfront, located at 8 Darling Street, Mitchell, has been extended due to a delay in renovation works. The shopfront will be closed to customers from 20 October 2025 to 17 April 2026.
During this renovation period, the LPBS shopfront will not be able to provide in-person services. However, you can still access many services online at Access Canberra. If you need to book a face-to-face appointment, please call them on 02 6207 1923. For any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out via email at acepdcustomerservices@act.gov.au.
Please note that payments cannot be made by cash or cheque during this time.
An improved LPBS is scheduled to reopen starting Monday 20 April 2026.
