The ACT Government has released its Building and Construction Industry Training Levy (Training Plan) Approval 2025 (ACT).
The Building and Construction Industry Training Fund Authority (TFA) collects a 0.2% levy on building and construction projects over $10,000 undertaken in the ACT. Funds collected are used to support training for eligible industry workers. The TFA provides funding in the form of rebates paid to eligible workers upon completion of training delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). For 2026, the TFA has confirmed it will continue funding training through RTOs, with a total budget of $2,750,000 allocated for training programs and rebates.
