Building Act 2004 – Approved Forms Update 

The ACT Government has released several updated approved forms under the Building Act 2004. Members are encouraged to review the forms linked below and familiarise themselves with the changes.  

Approved forms include:  

• Minimum documentation requirements for building approval lodgement – Class 1 and 10 residential construction  

• Certificate of completion of unsubstantiated building work – application for certificate of occupancy and use under section 69(2B)  

• Exemption assessment B notice lodgement  

• Non-compliance notice  

• Certificate of completion – building work  

• Building commencement notice  

• Asbestos warning notice  

• Site work notice
