‘Arcadia’, a distinguished residential project in Forrest by Nikias Diamond and DNA Architects, embodies architectural excellence and refined living. The unique architectural design features custom fluted concrete spandrels that create a rhythmic and refined façade, creating a unique visual identity and a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. The home is built with a mix of standard and honed stack-bond bricks, creating a contemporary backdrop. The brickwork also serves as a canvas for the lush gardens, thoughtfully curated by the owner. The balance between hard and soft landscaping enriches the sensory experience, showcasing the home’s sophistication and passion.
Australian War Memorial
Eifer was contracted to deliver the glazing, brass, and aluminium works as part of the Southern Entrance at the Australian War Memorial. The project aimed to enhance accessibility, weatherproofing, and safety at the national icon. Eifer’s team managed fabrication and installation with precision, despite tight costs and uncompromising quality expectations. The Oculus skylight dome, featuring 3mm brass cladding and engraved glass, is an outstanding example of technical complexity. Eifer’s role blended specialist skill with generalist oversight, managing stakeholders and crews over 15 months to create a lasting tribute to veterans.
