Final Determinations Issued – Modern Award Superannuation Clause review

The Fair Work Commission (FWC) has been reviewing the Superannuation Clause of Modern Awards to ensure that they properly reflect current superannuation requirements.
It was decided in December 2023 that the Construction Awards would be varied to include a note that gives a short description of the relevant legislative context as it relates to superannuation and the NES.
On 26 March 2024 the FWC issued final determinations as part of this review which varies the current superannuation clause of several Modern Awards from 9 April 2024.
