Members will note from previous Member Updates, that WorkSafe ACT’s Operation Safe Prospect has seen a number of improvement notices, prohibition notices and infringement notices, issued on a number of residential sites since August this year.

MBA ACT continues to remind ALL members that compliance with the Work, Health and Safety legislation is mandatory, not optional. Whilst the issues noted during this campaign have been focused on the residential sector, this does not make other sectors exempt from inspection and/or enforcement action, where necessary.
