Mental Health Awareness Training

Mental Health is as equally important as our physical health and well being, and as such, has duty of care requirements under the Work health and Safety Act.


PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Mental Health is as equally important as our physical health and wellbeing, and as such, has duty of care requirements under the Work health and Safety Act. This training has been developed specifically tailored to the Construction Industry, for all Construction professionals. Learn how to recognise and respond to mental health situations and crises in the workplace, as well as implement and maintain preventative actions.

After completing this training, you will;

  • Understand Mental Health, Mental Health Problems and Mental Health Illnesses
  • Understand how Mental Health affects the workplace
  • Identify early warning signs of mental health problems, crises and or illness
  • Provide immediate assistance in crises
  • Provide information and avenues of support
  • Facilitate opportunities to improve, monitor and manage Mental Health in Workplace

Pre-Requisites: Minimum 15 years old


CERTIFICATION

Participants will be issued with a Cetificate of Attendance at the completion of training.

If you do not have one you will need to have either one of the following - Medicare card, birth certificate, driver licence, Australian passport, citizenship document, certificate of registration by descent, ImmiCard or Australian entry visa during this online process.
