PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The competency specification includes identifying legislative, regulatory, and job requirements; planning and preparing to install insulation; identifying insulation products; preparing a site for retrofitting; and removal of existing insulation products.

CONTENT
One day of face-to-face and theory as well as practical assessments.
This is a non-accredited competency.
Students are required to hold the following units of competency and proof of completion will be required.
In line with current mandatory requirements, to enter a worksite, a White Card is required as a pre-requisite ,
Additionally completion of the current Insulation Installers training which includes:
- CPCCCM2012 Work safely at heights
- CPCCWHS2001 Apply WHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry
- CPCCPB3014 Install bulk insulation and pliable membrane products
- CPCCPB3027 Install ceiling insulation products
- CPCCOM1015 Carry out measurements and calculations
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Attendees must wear or bring the following PPE to complete the practical assessment:
- Safety boots
- High-visibility clothing, long sleeve shirt and long pants
- Eye protection
- Gloves
